It is with much sadness that we share the news of Nancy Gordon’s passing on Sunday, June 23, 2024, at 92 years old. Nancy was the beloved wife of John Gordon, Sr. for 63 years, until his passing in 2019. Together they raised two children, John Jr. and Sue, and built a foundation for future generations. Nancy's legacy extends beyond her immediate family. She is cherished by her 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Since the 1950s, Nancy quietly guided multiple generations of the Gordon family to build Gordon Food Service into the company it is today. Her unwavering support and dedication, often behind the scenes, were a blessing to countless people within the company. We will remember her humility, her kindness, and the positive impact she had on all who knew her.A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 27 from 3-6pm at Christ Church (2500 Breton Rd SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546). The memorial service will be held on Friday, June 28 at 11am at Christ Church.We ask that you remember the Gordon family in your thoughts and prayers during this time of loss.
